SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The grand opening date of Springfield's newest museum is set.
The new Museum of Springfield History will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday October 10th.
The museum currently under construction on Edwards Street in Springfield will feature dozens of antique Indian Motorcycles and memorabilia from the former Indian Motorcycle Museum that was located on Hendee Street in Springfield.
It also will include antique automobiles that were once manufactured in Springfield, including a rare American rolls-Royce, a Gee Bee aircraft, and many more exhibits about Springfield's industrial history.
Opening events will include an antique automobile and motorcycle show.
