Who is this mystery Aussie dirt track racer from 1928 and where is the track?
Two more un-named dirt track riders from 1928.
Another mystery rider sitting Proudly on his Douglas DT5 "Dirt track Dougie".
Update.... John Skinner from the Defunct Speedway site has identified this rider as Fred Fearnley, the Manchester motorcycle dealer. Interestingly, the bike has big tyres fitted (a factory option) and no engine protection, as John says, "probably not a good idea if you were taking it out on to the dirt track!".
