Pete Reeves' '36 Knucklehead

Having always been into modified Harleys, I don't know much about the UK classic scene, but Pete Reeves and his original paint first-year Knuck are apparently well known.

As were oohing and ahhing over its originality at the Linkert Attacks! party, someone told me that the bike (which was sold in Holland... check the speedo in kilometres) had been dismantled and left in an attic during the war so the Nazis wouldn't find it. I couldn't verify this as unfortunately I didn't get to meet Pete on this occasion.
