on my friend Allan´s Indian gas tank.

Ton-Up sketching

This is a Norton - and this Ton-Up lettering didn´t have any sketch.

This was a classic "let´s save the sketch book for later" and free style something direct on the bike. One shot - no changes - here we go.

My friend Kasper here is a good example of a perfect customer.

Quote - Kasper: I go pick up some beers - you do what you do! I trust you man...

Well - Just had to do it!
Saw my old leather jacket hanging there on the wall, begging me to paint something on it...

And actually there a lot of bonus attached to a little fresh paint on your jacket.

1) It feels like you got a brand new jacket , it´s just much cheaper....
2) You will be amazed how well the jacket will fit you.....

Painted this Old style diamond logo for my friend Peter.

Peter latest project is this awesome rigid Sportster.

PH 5 Custom Lamp

A good friend of mine asked me if I had the Time,
to help him create a special present for his wife.

Well of cause - special personal presente are no. 1

He told me, she noticed the Granate Lamp I made once,
so we decided to continue that way and customize a classic PH lamp for her.

And who can ask for a better "canvas" than the famous PH 5 lamp
by the Danish architect Poul Henningsen.

First of all!
Try to imagien how you want the look/layers/colors on the lamp -
and then remember that image...This part is very Important...

Cause when you bring all the pieces apart you have absoutely no clue what it would look like untill you bring it together again.

You could also make a drawing first - but then again..... no! just gooo

Disasampling all part - rattle rattle spray paint.

Carefully moving the painted parts

bringing the parts together again.

The plywood board I painted the parts on! and some blue masking tape.

The result!

FORD of STEEL

So my good friend Jens dropped by today with his fantastic V8 Flathead Ford from 1936. With the absolutely fantastic idea! -
let´s paint something on it!

You bet! we can paint something on it...
I LOVE painting on old perfect patinated cars like this.

Work in progress - sketch sketch, paint paint paint

Jens is a Blacksmith so I thought it was obvious to hand letter/paint UNION STEEL (in Gold) on the doors.
The car is for 1936, so we name the street adress: 36 Newbury St. Boston
cause the car was original from - Boston.... of cause!

Now there´s a new story to tell.
And when people ask: Is this really a old Union Steel Service car?

The answer will properly be: Yes it is....

And a beer... salut

HOT WHEELS

My good freind Lau droped by the Garage to show me a
new "old" gas tank for his FRISCO style triumph.

I immediately say - Hey man! why don't we paint something on that!?....

I showed Lau some rattlecans in Blue, Orange & Yellow, as an example.

Lau´s respond:/ - Cool! those colors reminds me of something from back then - when I was i Kid.. - you know! - toy cars etc.

I:/ like Hot Wheels?

Lau:/ FOR SURE - Hot Wheels it is - let´s paint it...

I:/ Sure - Shake shake shake the rattlecans.

Lau:/ I´ll go grap some beers......
