Dimma is an Icelandic Rock band that I like alot! Their guitar player, named Ingólfur, is actually a professional magician.. I saw them live in Reykjavík Icleand last june with a new singer (not the one singing in this video). Was a bit skeptic since I kind of like the old singer. But the new frontman was not bad at all and the band Rocks!! Enjoy the Masterplan...

To my big surprise I could not find any videos from Devildriver.. Maybe I didn't look hard and maybe I could care less... This video is, (call me childish), cool as hell... Thundering metal is never wrong! NEVER!
A video from a Icelandic viking metal band called Skálmöld. This band started in 2009 and they will be playing at Wacken Open Air in Germany this August. A great band to present in the ever so seldom "friday metal" post from PP-Choppers as it is the Icelandic National day to day ;o)

Every day I make metal parts for the oil & offshore industry. I work with a 2001 model Deckel Maho DMC 80U Duo Block 5 axis milling machine. In this video you see the machine doing some tolerance cut on a spindle. Enjoy ;o)

For the past two, three years Lamb of God has been one of my favorite bands! Last Wednesday I saw them live for the first time! They didn’t disappoint me at all! One of the best bands in Metal ever if you ask me! Not as many people at Centrum Scene in Oslo as there where at the Download Festival in England! I personally think it’s much more fun to see a band like Lamb Of God in a small theater with only 1500 people, than in a huge arena or at a festival with 10 or even 100 times more spectators! A great experience that that I can strongly recommend ;o)
Blood Red Throne from Kristansand her in Norway is one of the best Death Metal bands around. The guys are amazing artists and musicians! I went to see them for the first time in December 2009 and they blew me away! The band has been around for some 10 odd years now and they have 5 full studio albums out. The last one called “Souls Of Damnation” is an awesome album that every death metal fan with self respect should have in his or hers collection!

I saw Iced Earth and Tim ”Ripper” Owens at Sweden Rock Festival in 2004. He has an amazing voice and, as I have heard, a big ego! He got sacked from Iced Earth and is now singing with Ingwie Malmsteen!? Well what can I say about the Ripper… He’s a screamer ;o)
Friday metal is back after a holiday break! Today’s video is from a band called Killswitch Engage. A band that I really like! I think they perform better live than on album. And I have seen them play this great cover song live ;o) This is a classic metal song from the godfather of metal Mr. Ronnie James Dio. Sadly I heard that Dio recently was hospitalized with stomach cancer. Sad news as he is one of the greatest and most genuine heroes of metal.. Hope you get better soon Ronnie and can make us happy with your music for many years to come! A great tribute from Killswitch Engage to a true hero!
Since we are in Denmark this Friday (last post) it’s appropriate to dedicate today’s Friday Metal to Volbeat from Denmark. They incorporate Rockabilly and metal in a way that you can’t dislike! At least I love it… Enjoy..

MACHINE HEAD | What can I say! They sure as hell beat the hell out of most metal bands these days…and have been doing so for the past seventeen years! Compared to for instance Metallica (which many say is the biggest metal band ever?!) they beat the shit out of those sippers,, that’s for sure! The 2008 album ”the Blackening” is one of history’s best metal albums! Now I lay thee down… or, I rest my case ;o)

This was one of my favourites back in 1996! And what do you know.. It still rocks after 13 years! I can’t say that I’m Bored these days. Just came home after 14 hours at work and I should have had the day of today… Well that’s how it goes ;-)

The metalcore band “Bullet For My Valentine” from Wales started in 1998 under the name “Jeff Killed John”. Back then the boys where only 18 - 19 years old. 11 years later I actually think they rock. Not bad for some young English blokes…. A video from the 2005 album “The Poison”. Enjoy…
