Saxar MC Rally..

Thank god it’s Friday! After a busy week it’s about time to relax and look through some pictures from yesterdayz gone by! This time around I found some pictures from a small motorcycle rally in Iceland in 1994. There where maybe 20 people attending the rally but we still managed to have a good time!

This was probably the first time I met one of Iceland most dedicated biker Heiddi. He was one of few people who had a Harley that wasn’t an old police bike. We all looked up to him and admired his biker lifestyle.. Sadly he passed away in an accident riding his Buell on his way home from a motorcycle rally on the 2^nd of July 2006. RIP!

What can I say!! A true hero of the metal community has left this world! It has been a true privileged to enjoy your music Ronnie! Have a nice trip to your next live and thanks for all the great music and good vibes! See you later friend!

Dragracing hero...

The dragracing community lost a true hero in 2006. Svein “Gotten” Gottenberg was killed in an accident at Mosten Raceday in Denmark.

A few years earlier (in Finland) Gotten's engine exploded and the front cylinder blew off, tearing the whole front end from the bike, midways down the strip. An accident he walked away from! At Santa pod UK in 2005 the same thing happened again, but then the frame did not crack in half. Anyway as you can se from the pictures, parts where flying near Gotten pulling his left hand away from the handlebars. A year later he crashed at Mosten and this time he didn’t walk away from it… R.I.P. (The amazing pictures where taken by Stefan Boman)
