Gestern, bei noch bestem Wetter, hat mich Winni Scheibe wieder besucht, um an bekannter Location ein paar (über 300) Bilder meiner eisernen Lieblinge vier Stunden lang zu machen. Habe dabei gleich selbst mit meiner Amateurtechnik ein paar Bilder gemacht. Solange diese wunderbare, vom Zahn der Zeit benagte Wellblechskulptur noch steht muß man das noch ausnutzen. Leider ist mein Grundstück zu klein, um diese Halle nach einem eventuellen Abriss dort aufzustellen.

Vor einigen Jahren hatte ich das Glück, eines dieser seltenen Bücher zu erwerben. Es wurde von der Fa. RUDGE 1926 herausgegeben und beinhaltet vom Kauf der richtigen RUDGE über deren Pflege und Wartung auch touristische Tips. Man kann erfahren welches die höchsten Berge in GB sind, wann Ferien sind, wann das Licht am Bike in welcher Jahreszeit einzuschalten ist, wie man eine RUDGE auf eine Fähre bekommt und vieles mehr. Es hat einen wetterfesten Umschlag und einen Druckknopf um es zu verschließen. Man dachte sich bei RUDGE, dass der Rudgist das Werk mit auf seine Reisen nimmt, um darin bei Bedarf nachzuschlagen. Glücklicherweise wurde mein Exemplar wahrscheinlich davon verschont. Es ist noch in erstklassigem Zustand, so dass ich ab und an Etwas davon in den Blog stellen kann. Es hat 124 Seiten und im Anhang sind noch 31 Seiten Kartenmaterial von England.

Darmont-Étoile de France (1933). The engine is an air-cooled 50º 1.100cc V2 engine. Maximum speed of this model around 110 Km/h, which is approximately 68 mph, with a 1.100cc Darmont-Spécial engine the speed was 125 Km/h (78 mph). The standard colour of the car was blue. The car was sold with two forward speeds and no reverse, three forward speeds and reverse were available as an extra.
