Panhead progress

Work, work, thank god its just a hobby !!!

Fork is removed, bike now fills 22 square meters

Time to get of all dirt

Someone crossed some serious bad roads with this ol mother?

Tools is always cool to make for any purpose. Here are what is needed to secure engine sprocket, clutch hub and a puller for the hub.

Came across a whole bunch op UNF bolts at a local hardware store. Needless to say I got them all, even if they where all very long ones. Made up mandrels for 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16" and 9/16" to be able to work new threads and cut the length in the lathe.

Guide lamp housing with lisence plate bracket riveted on. Cracked original bezel and replacement J&P bezel on the lamp.

My Pan came with a ugly bugly Taiwan Ted Thombstone. Got a Guide house, NOS glas glasses and found the bezel from V-twin did not fit an original glas nor the original lamp housing. The width inside for the glas in a V-twin bezel is 1/8" less than the original.
OK, some serious investigations revealed the correct bezel is availiable from J&P Cycle. This is still not as nicely made as the original, but it fits.
Made new stainless screws for the bezel in my Myford lathe.
